Prieš ją skaitydama tikėjausi kažko kito - gal iš pavadinimo ir iš to, kaip knygos išleidimas buvo nušviestas žiniasklaidoje, maniau, jog autorė kaltins ir purvais drabstys visą lietuvių tautą už holokaustą.
